Sported is a one stop shop, providing funding and organisational development support to groups that use sport to improve the lives of young people in disadvantaged communities.
They are currently running in three areas of the UK (London, the West Midlands and Cornwall), but aim to have a national presence by 2012.

The North Lambeth and North Southwark’s Sport Action Zone (SAZ) has been awarded the 2009 BBC Power of Sport Award, supported by Sport England. SAZ have brought new sporting opportunities to over 7,500 disadvantaged people in London.
