National governing body outcomes 2009/13
Sport England plans to invest £480 million in 46 sports over the next four years to deliver grassroots sporting opportunities and a lasting Olympic and Paralympic legacy of one million people playing more sport.
Sports’ national governing bodies (NGBs) have been awarded funding based on the contribution they will make to the three targets - to grow and sustain participation in sport, and to create opportunities for people to excel at their chosen sport.
