Funding programmes generate huge response
Applications for grants from two of Sport England’s new funding programmes, the Rural Communities themed round and the Innovation Fund, are now being assessed. Both funds were substantially oversubscribed and all eligible applications are being judged on a competitive basis.
The level of response means that we are able to invest in the very best ideas. It gives us a real opportunity for rigorous assessment - ensuring we support projects that will deliver the greatest possible return for community sport.
